Online Course Copy Request
Please complete the Online Course Copy Request form to request that all content from a course not developed or previously taught by you be copied into your course area on Western Online. All required information must be provided.
We will not copy content from your own course or development sandbox to your new course area. All instructors are able to copy within their own courses without the need for administrative access. Steps for this process are located at

Online Course Shell Creation
Complete the Online Course Shell Creation Form to request the creation of a new course shell in Western Online. You will not be able to submit the form if there is missing information. You must submit a new request for each new course shell you want to have created.
Please note course shell creation is limited to purposes that have not and will not be assigned a STAR number, and are not synced through the STARS/Registration System.
Online Template Request Form
Complete the Online Template Request Form to request that the WIU Online Course Template be added into your course shell.
Course Reset Request
Complete the Course Reset Request Form to request a course for which you are the instructor in Western Online be erased. Note: All information will be erased and we are unable to bring it back. Be sure this is what you want before completing this request.
Course Cross List Request
Complete the Course Cross List Form to request two courses be merged in Western Online as one course. Note: All information could be erased and we are unable to bring it back. A course backup is recommended for both courses. Be sure this is what you want before completing this request.
LTI Integration Request Form
Complete the LTI Integration request form to have a publisher pack or learning tool distributed by another company integrated into your D2L course. Allow at least 6 weeks for processing if this is a new request.
Course Review Form
Complete the Course Review Form to have a course reviewed in Western Online.
Adding Faculty to a Course Form
Complete the Adding Faculty to a Course Form to have an existing Faculty member added to a course! Note: We cannot create accounts for new Faculty members in Western Online, they must have an existing and active Western Online Account.
One-on-One Consultation Form
Complete the One-on-One Consultation Form to request a sit down meeting or a Zoom call with us for assistance! We can meet for Instructional Design help or Western Online Technical Support.
Online Course Evaluation (OCE) Tool Request
Complete the Online Course Evaluation Request form to request assistance with the Online Course Evaluation (OCE) Tool.
General Service Request
If your request does not fall under the options listed above, please submit your request by emailing support@wiu.edu directly. Explain your issue clearly in the body of the email and include any pertinent information such as the tool being used, course name, section number, star number, etc.
