Christine Anderson received a B.A. from Charleston Southern University, a M.A. from the University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. She certified and taught in five states at both the elementary and the secondary level. Dr. Anderson was a supervisor of special education student teachers at Arizona State University and an instructor at the University of Iowa.

Her research interests include the benefits of the arts and technology for individuals with disabilities, assistive technology, and trauma informed pedagogy. She currently serves as the Special Education Advisor and Coordinator.

Christine and her husband, Curtis, are the parents of six children and grandparents of eight.
