Services Set for WIU Student

MACOMB, IL – Services for a Western Illinois University student who died Wednesday, Jan. 4 at a Peoria hospital have been set for 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9 in Ft. Madison, IA.

Mitchell Stuekerjuergen, a sophomore journalism major from Ft. Madison, IA, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8 at Sacred Heart Church, 2211 Avenue I in Ft. Madison; funeral services will also be held at the church.

“Our sympathy and thoughts go out to Mitchell’s family and friends," said Western President Al Goldfarb.
