WIU Concert Band May 3

MACOMB, IL - -Western Illinois University's Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
Under the baton of Assistant Director of Bands Matt Thomas, the program will include: "The Merry Widow: Selections for Wind Ensemble" by Franz Lehár; "Simple Gifts" by Frank Ticheli; "Blackwater" by Fergal Carroll; "Hymn to a Blue Hour," by John Mackey; and "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!" by Eric Whitacre.
The concert is open free to the public.
