Magee Named Director of WIU Scholarship Office

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University Financial Aid Associate Allyson Magee has been named director of the University's Scholarship Office, effective Jan. 1.

Magee was named a financial aid associate at WIU in August 2022, after serving as a financial aid manager at the University since May 2019, and financial aid advisor coordinator since November 2017. She began working at WIU in 2016 as a financial aid advisor.

"I am pleased to welcome Allyson to the Foundation and Development office," said WIU Foundation Executive Director Brad Bainter. "Her expertise in financial aid will benefit us and our growing scholarship program."

As office director, Magee is responsible for all of the financial and personnel functions pertaining to the University's scholarship activities, as well as implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures for the office.

Magee received her bachelor's degree from WIU in general studies in 2015.
