'Spring Into a Fun Semester' at WIU Feb, 22-28

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE), in conjunction with numerous other campus offices, will host "Spring Into a Fun Semester" during week five of the Spring 2021 semester, Feb. 22-28.

The goal of the events is to help engage students and help them make meaningful connections.

The week five schedule includes:
• Monday, Feb. 22 – 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.- "The Vagina Monologues" swag giveaway at the WIU Women's Center in the Multicultural Center

• Tuesday, Feb. 23
- 5-7 p.m. - "The Vagina Monologues" documentary film screening, Multicultural Center multipurpose room
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Tuesdays on the Terrace with the Military Science department, University Union terrace

• Wednesday, Feb. 24
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. - "The Vagina Monologues" Wednesdays with the Women's Center at the WIU Women's Center in the Multicultural Center
- 5 p.m. – Campus Rec virtual three-point contest
- 5-6:30 p.m. – Gwendolyn Brooks Culture Center Black History Month, The Underrep'd, virtual event
- 6-7 p.m. – WIU's virtual Zoom social
- 7 p.m. – University Union Board virtual bingo
• Thursday, Feb. 25
- 5:30 p.m. – Campus Recreation Badminton League begins; ends on March 25, located in Campus Recreation
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Thursdays on the Terrace with the Financial Aid Office, University Union terrace

• Friday, Feb. 26
- 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – University Union Board Grab and Go kit, located in the Office of Student Engagement
- 1-2 p.m. – Café y Hablamos, in the Multicultural Center's Casa Latina Cultural Center
- 7-8:30 p.m. – Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center Black History Month, Black Greek Poets II, virtual event

• Sunday, Feb. 28, 1 p.m. – Volleyball game vs. Omaha, virtual event.
