WIU Holiday Festival of Choirs Dec. 7 at St. Paul

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the annual Holiday Festival of Choirs at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, with performances at St. Paul Church in Macomb.

This year's Holiday Festival of Choirs will feature two performances of beautiful and inspirational holiday-themed choral music. The concert will include performances by the Western Illinois University Singers, Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Macomb Senior High School Madrigal Singers and Concert Choir, the Holiday Festival Children's Choir and WIU Brass. Audience members will be invited to join in carol sing-alongs, including our traditional singing of "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's "Messiah."

General admission only tickets are $10 (free to WIU students with valid ID) and can be purchased through the Hainline Theatre Box Office, (309) 298-2900, Monday-Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Tickets available online at WESTERNPRESENTS.com. This concert typically sells out and early ticket purchases are encouraged.

To ensure a quality listening experience for the audience, it is advised that children ages 6 and under not attend this concert.
