WIU Equal Opportunity and Access Director Interview Set

MACOMB, IL - -An interview for the Western Illinois University Equal Opportunity and Access director position will be held Wednesday-Thursday, Sept. 11-12.

Stephanie Kinkaid, interim director of intercultural life and Title IX coordinator at Monmouth College, has been selected to interview.

An open session with Kinkaid will be held from 11-11:50 a.m. in the University Union Lincoln Room Sept. 11 and from 1:30-2:20 p.m. in the Riverfront Hall, room 103, Sept. 12 on the Quad Cities campus.

Kinkaid has served as interim director of intercultural life since June 2019 and Title IX coordinator at Monmouth College since 2016. Prior to that, she was the assistant director (2014-16) and the program coordinator (2011-14) of the Wackerle Career and Leadership Program and administrative assistant to the Vice President for Student Life (2007-11), all at Monmouth College. She has also served as executive director of the Cameron (IL) Christian Care Center (2006-07); residential coordinator/case manager of Bridgeway (2001-06), in Galesburg, IL; executive director of Kindercare in Sleepy Hollow, IL, and of First Friends Daycare in Genoa, IL, (1999-01) and parents as teachers director and preschool teacher for Northeast Nodaway School District in Parnell, MO, (1997-99).

Kinkaid earned her bachelor's degree in public relations from Illinois State University and her master's degree in college student personnel from Western Illinois University.
