Macomb's July 4th Celebration Scheduled in WIU's Q-Lot

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University and the City of Macomb will present entertainment and a fireworks display as part of the annual Fourth of July presentation, Thursday, July 4 in Q-Lot at WIU.

Entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m., with a performance by the Macomb Municipal Band. The presentation of the colors begins at 5:45 p.m. and the King Graffiti Band will perform from 7-9 p.m. Food vendors will also be set up in Q-lot.

The annual fireworks display is scheduled to begin at about 9 p.m. In case of rain, the fireworks show will be held at 9 p.m. Friday, July 5.
