WIU Warns About Telemarketing Company Using University's Phone Prefix

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University has been made aware of a telemarketing company using the school's (298) prefix to solicit customers by telephone.
The company, identifying itself as "America Health – Pain Relief Solutions" then asks for personal information, such as Social Security numbers and banking information.
The University is not affiliated with this company and stresses that individuals should not provide any personal information to anyone.
