Earthfest 2018 Celebration April 14 in Chandler Park

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University's Horn Environmental Learning Project will present its annual Earthfest celebration, "Making a Difference from the Ground Up," from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 14 in Macomb's Chandler Park.

The free event will feature live bands, environmental speakers, arts, crafts and earth-friendly activities for all ages.

This year's schedule includes:

• 10 a.m. – Drum circle

• 11 a.m. – A presentation by WIU Professor Gordon Rands

• Noon –"Formerly the Fox"

• 1 p.m. – A presentation by WIU Associate Professor John Hemingway

• 2 p.m. – "Cole Hollow"

• 3 p.m. – A presentation by WIU Professor Bill Knox

• 4 p.m. – "Blue Dream"
