MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Agriculture will host a fundraising "'Neck Up Spaghetti Luncheon," from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, March 5 in Knoblauch Hall, Corporate Dining Room, 239.

Money raised through the event will benefit a School of Agriculture student whose mother is terminally ill with cancer.

"One thing the School of Agriculture prides itself on is treating everyone like family," said Instructor Jana Knupp. "We look out for each other and when someone is in need, we will be there. This student-run benefit speaks to the heart of our students. There is nothing quite like the spirit of a Leatherneck."

The event menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert and drinks. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance in the Agriculture Office, Knoblauch Hall, 145, from members of the Ag Vocators, or by emailing BA-Livingston@wiu.edu. Tickets are also available at the door.

Meals can also be packaged for take-out.

A silent auction will be held during the event and the available items can be seen at facebook.com/events/1052005464947535/.

Donations can be made to the family by visiting bit.ly/KGraves18.
