Libraries to Host Donor Reception Sept. 20

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Libraries will host a reception to honor its donors at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 in the Malpass Library Garden Lounge.

Donors who give to University Libraries at the "Gardener Level" have traditionally been recognized with a plant named in their honor. The event will include a plant recognition ceremony.

Those being recognized this year are Donna Goehner, retired dean of University Libraries and Cynthia Struthers, associate professor within the Illinois Institute of Rural Affairs and a former member of the Library Leadership Board.

Light refreshments will be served and a short presentation held to thank those who have supported University Libraries.

This event is open free to the public.
