GBCC at WIU to Host Motivational Breakfast Saturday

MACOMB, IL – The Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center at Western Illinois University will host a Breakfast of Champions event at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8 in the Multicultural Center.

The event is designed to provide students with a source of inspiration and encouragement as the end of the semester approaches. It will also be an opportunity for students to network with peers and members of the campus community.

The event will feature guest speaker Erika McCall, an author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and founder of Go For Yours. Student speakers will include Mercedes Joyner, a senior communication major from Machesney Park, IL, and Enoch Pink, a junior business major from Chicago.

The event is open free to the public.
