Neidy Obituary

MACOMB, IL – A celebration of life service for retired Building Service sub-foreman Chuck Neidy, of Colchester, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at Jones Mortuary in Colchester. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, before the service at the funeral home.
Neidy passed away at home Monday, Feb. 6. He began his career at WIU in August 1979, and retired in May 2005.
Neidy is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Jon and Erik; one step-son, Kenneth; two step-daughters, Kathleen and Brenda; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Good Hope Cemetery.
