Western Illinois University Will Host an Open Community Screening

MACOMB, IL – MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University will host an open community screening for the documentary "Starving The Beast" Wednesday Feb. 8 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Sandburg Theatre and 7-9 p.m. in Morgan Hall room 109.

According to the filmmakers, "the story of the potent one-two punch roiling public higher education right now: 35 years of systematic defunding and a well-financed market oriented reform effort. It's the story of a little know and misunderstood ideological fight, the outcome of which will change the future of public higher education."
