Zack Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Hinsdale South High School senior Michael Zack, of Springfield (IL), has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Zack hopes to major in law enforcement and justice administration at Western.

"Any student interested in the criminal justice field should consider Western, as it has one of the largest and well connected programs in the nation," said Zack. "The faculty's experience in the criminal justice field is unparalleled."

In high school, Zack participated in baseball, Hornets for Wounded Warriors and the Investment Club.

After graduation from Western, Zack hopes to become a federal law enforcement officer.
