WQPT Director of Development Interviews

MOLINE, IL -- Four candidates have been selected to interview for the Western Illinois University WQPT Director of Development position.

Candidates and their interview dates include Rose Boesen, an organizational and resource development consultant of Muscatine, IA, May 5-6; Christopher Steinbach, deputy director of MCSA in Muscatine, May 6 and May 13; Tiffany Bainter, relationship manager for the United Way of the Quad Cities, May 10-11; and Scott VanDeWoestyne, former director of government affairs, Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, May 13.

Open sessions will be held on the QC Riverfront campus with each candidate: Boesen, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, May 6; Steinbach, 8-9 a.m., Friday, May 13; Bainter, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11; and VanDeWoestyne, 2-3 p.m. Friday, May 13.

Boesen has served as a consultant for a variety of Quad Cities organizations since 2014. Previously, she served as the executive director for the Black Hawk College Foundation from 2013-2014 and as chief professional officer for the United Way of Muscatine from 2011-2012. She has also worked as chief professional officer for the Great Rivers United Way in Onalaska, WI from 1999-2010.

Steinbach has served as deputy director of MCSA in Muscatine since 2012. Previously, he worked for Lee Enterprises from 2000-2012 as an editor at newspapers in Muscatine, Idaho and Minnesota, and from 1990-2000 as a reporter for Lee Enterprises newspapers .

Bainter has served as relationship manager for the United Way of the Quad Cities since 2013. Previously, she was the senior income development representative for the American Cancer Society in Peoria from 2008-2013 and an account executive with Infinity Print Group in Bloomington in 2008.

VanDeWoestyne served as the director of government affairs, Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce from 2010-2015. Previously, he was a national instructor trainer for the American National Red Cross in Washington, D.C. from 2007-2010, deputy director-emergency services for the Quad Cities Area Red Cross from 2006-2010, youth services manager for the John Lewis Community Services, Inc. in Davenport, IA from 2004-2006 and executive director for the Quad Citians Affirming Diversity from 2002-2004.
