Mini Golf Fundraiser April 4 to Benefit BBBS

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Veterans Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Warren and McDonough Counties will host a miniature golf fundraiser from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 4 in Brophy Hall.

"All Fore! The Kids Miniature Golf Fundraiser" is an indoor event to raise money for BBBS of Warren and McDonough Counties.

Twelve WIU organizations will serve as hole sponsors, and each will construct their own mini-golf hole for the event. Organizations taking part in the event include WIU Veterans Club, WIU Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), WIU Women's Rugby Team, WIU Paintball Team, WIU Corrections Club, Residence Assistant Council (RAC), Bay/Henn Hall Gov., Chi Omega, Theta Chi, Sigma Lamda Beta, Lambda Alpha Epsilon and Colonel Rock III (aka Rocky) and his owner Joe Roselieb.

For every hole-in-one at the event, the successful golfer will receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win one of six prizes, including gift certificates and sporting event tickets. In addition, BBBS will have a 30-foot putting green.

Registration is $20 per team of four, however anyone can golf for $5 per person.
