Food & Culture Club: African Foods and Culture Nov. 13

MACOMB, IL — The Western Illinois University Food and Culture Club invites students and faculty to an event featuring "A Taste of a Continent: African Foods and Culture," Wednesday, Nov. 13 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. A social hour and seating will begin at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The program will include various presentations, created by students and faculty, about Africa's language, dances, health, culture and foods. There will also be entertainment by Cultural Expressions and the Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center.

The program is open free to the public. Priority seating is by reservation only. Special seating is available for students identified for their academic excellence and/or their outstanding contributions to the university, student organizations and student activities on campus.
