WIU Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures Awards Scholarships

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures Scholarship Committee has awarded scholarships to five students.

Rebekah Brynes, an English and French major from Bettendorf, IA, and Jessica Longshore, a French major from Rockford, IL, each received the Jerry Purdum Memorial Scholarship in French.

Cassidy Pogue, a Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish major from Highland Park, IL, received the Clifford A. and Rosa Julstrom Scholarship.

Ryleigh Sears from Wadsworth, IL, and Graciela Horta from Elgin, IL, both received the Blenda Olson Scholarship. Sears is pursuing majors in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish, while Horta is pursuing a major in Spanish.
