Pension Presentation March 19

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University chapter of University Professionals of Illinois (UPI) will sponsor a pension and budget discussion from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 in the music performance studio at Tri States Public Radio, 320 W. University Dr.
Ralph Martire, executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability (CTBA), will discuss the current pension and budget challenges in the state of Illinois. The CTBA works to identify, develop and introduce into the public debate non-partisan, data-driven analysis and equitable public policy recommendations.
The event is open free to the public. The discussion will be re-broadcast on University Television (Channel 3, Macomb Comcast subscribers; Channel 9, MTC subscribers).
