Trio Solari March 7

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University Bureau of Cultural Affairs presents Trio Solari at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Trio Solari consists of clarinetist Chad Burrows, pianist Amy I-Lin Cheng and violinist Yung-Hsiang Wang. The group has performed at the OKMozart International Music Festival, University of Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium, Thy Chamber Music Festival in Denmark, University of Michigan, Rice University, University of Houston, University of Tulsa, Oklahoma City University, University of Notre Dame and Wichita State University.

The members of the trio have individually won prizes from the Fischoff Mational Chamber Music Competition, Young Concert Artist International Auditions in New York, Rising Young Artists Series in Taiwan and Chimei Foundation Scholarship in Taiwan.

Tickets for the WIU show, available at bcabringsthestars.com/tickets, are $15 for the public, $10 for WIU employees, senior citizens and youth and free for WIU students with valid identification.
