RPTA Dept. Summer Camp Job Fair Feb. 7; Students from All Majors Welcome

MACOMB, IL -- It's not too early to make plans for your summer job, and you'll have the opportunity to do just that at the Western Illinois University Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA) Summer Camp Job Fair (SCJF). The 2013 SCJF is scheduled from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the University Union Grand Ballroom.
The fair provides students with opportunities for employment interviews and hiring on the spot. According to the RPTA department's website, the summer camp employers often provide free meals, free housing and a salary for the summer. Interested students will want to bring résumés and/or their reference lists to the SCJF for the on-site employment interviews.
Students from every major at Western can gain valuable experience working at camp; summer camp employers can utilize all students' interests, skills and abilities to use at camp.
