MACOMB, IL -- Forget traveling to New York City or Vegas to catch a Tony Award-winning musical when the Western Illinois University Alumni Association will bring the musical - and an alumni social/dinner - to its alumni and friends in the west central Illinois region.

On Feb. 13, the WIU Alumni Association will host the Peoria Alumni and Friends Event, complete with the performance of "Jersey Boys" at the Peoria Civic Center. The social and dinner begins at the Civic Center at 5:30 p.m., followed by the 7:30 p.m. performance. Tickets are available on both the main floor and the first balcony.

Winner of the Best Musical Tony Award on Broadway, in London and Australia, this blockbuster phenomenon takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Experience electrifying performances of the golden greats that took this group all the way to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Dawn," "My Eyes Adored You" and more.

Tickets, which includes the social, dinner and performance, are $94 per person (main floor and first balcony-center) and $73 (first balcony-sides). The "Jersey Boys" ticket sales are final (all tickets purchased through the WIU Alumni Association are non-refundable).

Individuals who have already purchased tickets for the performance are invited to attend the social and dinner for $20 per person.

To register, visit http://www.wiu.com/alumni, or call the Alumni Association at (309) 298-1914.
