WIU-QC is on a Roll in Iowa

As school starts, there will be more than just traditional yellow school buses in Davenport and Bettendorf. Iowa's Quad Cities residents will be seeing a purple, WIU-QC Citibus on their streets this fall. The bus is wrapped in Western purple and features Quad Cities campus students Nicole Sutlife and Curtis Johnson on the sides of the bus. Messages near the students include "Two states, one tuition rate, guaranteed!" and Western's ranking as a "Best in the Midwest College" by the Princeton Review.

"Western is proud to be the only public university in the Quad Cities and to literally be the public choice for the Quad Cities," said Director of University Marketing, Kristin Dunstan. "By working with Citbus, Iowa QC residents will have a nice daily reminder of Western's quality education and the fact that Iowa residents receive in-state tuition rates. Western remains committed to providing a quality and affordable public education to the QC on both sides of the river."
