Welcome to the University Union! We hope this is the place where U come to meet – meet friends for lunch, meet with a student organization to plan the next great event, meet with your study group, meet with a faculty member or colleague. The University Union is here for you. The Union provides food, fun, relaxation, meeting space, and much more.
The Union is a common space on campus to connect the campus community. It is a place for students, staff, and the community to enjoy.
Mission Statement:
The Western Illinois University Union provides programs, services, and facilities to foster student and community growth and success.
The University Union, located between the north and south campuses, is the community center of the University. Union services available include a food court and convenience store, meeting and banquet rooms, a bookstore, guest rooms, check cashing and cashier services, and ATM machines. Wireless internet is available in all areas of the Union.
We are dedicated to providing services, conveniences, amenities, and a common meeting place for the University community. These services and conveniences are desired and needed by the University community in their life on campus and for getting to know and understand one another through informal associations outside the classroom.
