Union Advisory Board
The purposes of the Union Advisory Board (UAB) are:
- To enhance the academic and social experience by providing opportunities for leadership and growth outside the classroom for students and the WIU community inside the University Union
- To propose, develop, implement, and revise policy regulations of the University Union
- To deliberate upon exemption requests brought forth to the WIU Union Advisory Board
- Serve as student advisors to the Director of the University Union
- Provide student feedback regarding any renovations, major changes, and usage of space within the University Union
- To plan and execute the annual block party

MEETINGS
Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 5pm in the Chicago Room in the University Union.

UNION POLICY EXCEPTIONS
The UAB is empowered to grant exceptions to Union policies when they are merited. In order to submit an application for a policy exception, please fill out the UAB Exception Request Form on Leatherneck Link at least three weeks prior to your event.
