Kelly Chen
Kelly is a first year student in the Clinical/Community Mental Health program and a first year Graduate Assistant at the University Counseling Center. She recently graduated from WIU with her B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Mental Health. Her interests are in emotion regulation, self-compassion, and working with trauma. She hopes to use person-centered and humanistic approaches to help her clients understand and navigate their emotions and interpersonal relationships.
Outside of school and work, Kelly enjoys reading, her favorite genres being fantasy and contemporary fiction. You might also find her playing video games and dabbling in music.
