Welcome to Caroline Grote Hall
We are excited you are here and cannot wait to show you around. Commonly referred to as Grote, the hall is connected to Lincoln-Washington and houses upper-division and graduate students. The hall shares amenities with Lincoln-Washington including a common space with a TV, billiards tabel, fooseball, and ping-pong tables, a computer lab, a laundry room, the Linc-Wash-Grote Convenience Store, and electronic classroom, a common space with projection screen and a community kitchen.

If your Residence Hall room is in need of a repair or something needs to be fixed in your building, please submit a work order. Work orders submitted on this site may not be processed until the following business day. Click the button to submit a Fit It!
Rocky Dollars is a debit-like account that is accessed using your WIU ID Card. After you deposit money into your account, you can present your WIU ID Card as a form of payment to purchase goods and services on campus. Click the button to add Rocky Dollars to your account.
Every day (except Sunday and legal holidays), U.S. mail is delivered to each of the residence halls. Mail is sorted and placed into student mailboxes when it arrives. Your room key opens your mailbox. The desk staff posts signs to let the students know when the newly delivered mail is ready for pick-up. lick the button to learn more.
