Graduate Assistantship

WIU is pleased to announce one assistantship opportunity for a national or international violinist. The winning candidate will perform in the Julstrom String Quartet. The other members of the quartet are faculty members at WIU: Julieta Mihai, violin, Istvan Szabo, viola, and Moises Molina, cello. Information about the graduate assistantship is attached below. Compensation includes a full tuition waiver for all graduate credits (not including fees), a tuition waiver for summer courses, and a stipend of $5032 per academic year. The total financial benefit is $10,743.58 per year for domestic students, and $16,419.16 per year for international students.
