Wagner graduates with a bachelor's degree in law enforcement and justice administration, with high academic distinction, magna cum laude. He is also an Honors Scholar. He is a member of the SALUTE Veteran's National Honor Society, serving as vice president, Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society and received two certificates of commendation from the Marine Corps. At WIU, he is a member of the Veteran's Club, raising money for the Great Peoria Honor Flight; the Food and Culture Club and Lambda Alpha Epsilon. He completed an internship with the McDonough County Sheriff's Department and was offered a part-time job in the county jail. After graduation, he hopes to get a job as a federal law enforcement officer and is currently interviewing with three federal agencies.

Tracy graduates with a bachelor's degree in forensic chemistry, with high academic distinction Magna Cum Laude. She is also an Honors Scholar. At Western, Tracey was president of Inter-Hall Council, vice president of the American Chemistry Society Chemistry Club, secretary of the Golden Key International Honour Society, chair of the 2017-18 Food Service Review Committee and director of student affairs for the Student Government Association. After graduation, Tracey will pursue a doctoral degree in chemical engineering, and she hopes to eventually earn a fellowship in scientific public policy or a postdoc at a Department of Energy laboratory. Tracey's parents are Cheryl and Bill Tracey.

Cramer graduates with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, with academic distinction, Cum Laude. She is also an Honors Scholar. Cramer has served as an Honors College Mentor in the University's Pre Honors Program and won first place for the WIU Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Thomas E. Hel Undergraduate Research Day in Spring 2017. She has served as vice president of the Student Honors Association and the Student Education Association and treasurer of the Golden Key International Honours Society. She has done volunteer work with the Linus Blanket Project, Earth Day, blood drives and street clean-up, as well as helping with College of Education and Discover Western events. After graduation, Cramer plans to complete the requirements for middle school social studies licensure and then begin a master's degree in reading or educational studies, with a focus on language, culture and education. She is the daughter of Keith Cramer and Linda Cramer (deceased).

Bessmertnaya graduates with a bachelor's degree in accountancy with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. She is also the Accounting Departmental Scholar and an Honors Scholar. At Western, she was a tennis player and was the accounting tutor for WIU Athletics. She was also a member of the WIU Centennial Honors College; Beta Alpha Psi; Beta Gamma Sigma; Phi Kappa Phi; Sigma Iota Epsilon and Phi Beta Delta. After graduation, she plans to continue her education at WIU, pursing a graduate degree in accounting. In September 2019, she will start her career with Deloitte as an audit and assurance assistance and will sit for the CPA exam. Bessmertnaya is the daughter of Marina Bessmertnaya.

Lane, selected as the Fall 2017 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a bachelor's degree in history, with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. She is also the History Departmental Scholar and an Honors Scholar. At WIU, Lane was the Richard D. and Janet L. Boynton History Honors Thesis Award winner. She was also a 2016 nominee for the Lincoln Laureate Award and is a member of the Associated Students of History, the Student Education Association and the Golden Key International Honor Society. After graduation, Lane hopes to obtain a job teaching history at the secondary level.

English, selected as the spring 2017 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a bachelor's degree in dietetics, with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. She is also the Dietetics Departmental Scholar and an Honors Scholar. At Western, English volunteered for Campus Students for Christ, including its mission trips and community volunteer efforts, as well as serving as a member of the Food and Culture Club (president and vice president) and the Swing Dance Club. She also volunteers for Faith Bible Camp, serving as a counselor and traveling to Romania on mission trips, as well as working with the Student Association for Nutrition Education, Trick the Town, Stuff the Bus and the Hy-Vee Health Bus. She has made the Dean's List every semester and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Golden Key, KONu, Phi Kappa Phi and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

English's academic work at Western has included completing education lessons and a business plan for a coffee shop and research in geriatric nutrition education, in which she worked with the Senior Center at the YMCA of McDonough County, and she was accepted to present a poster session at the Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' spring assembly. Additional research included being part of a nation-wide study of milk consumption and preferences among students (a case study in one of the schools earned her first place in WIU's Undergraduate Research Day).

Breslin, selected as the fall 2016 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a bachelor's degree in physics, with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. He is also the Physics Departmental Scholar and an Honors Scholar. While at Western, Breslin was named an honorable mention award winner in the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program, one of only nine college students in Illinois named honorable mention award winners. He was recognized for having the top oral presentation in physics at the Illinois State Academy of Science conference. He earned first place in WIU's 2015 Physics Research Day contest and has served as a resident assistant for a floor of honors students in Thompson Hall.

Breslin is also a senior research fellow for The Presidents Institute at Western, served as treasurer for the Blue Key Honor Society and served as vice president for membership education of Delta Upsilon. After graduation from Western, Breslin plans to seek a doctoral degree in condensed matter physics and become a university professor.

Drake was selected as the 2015 Western Illinois University Centennial Honors College Scholar and Student Laureate of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. She has served as the hall events coordinator for Tanner Hall, a principal harpist (the first in 32 years) for the WIU Orchestra, a founding senior research fellow for the President's Institute Think Tank, president of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Chemistry Club, founding secretary of the WIU Swing Dance Club, treasurer of the Blue Key International Honor Society, a freshman Honors resident assistant in Tanner Hall, the WIU Department of Chemistry representative to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Student Council and the student representative to the CAS Faculty Council.

Drake has also been involved in many other organizations, including Women in Science, National Residence Hall Honorary, the Student Philosophy Association and the Math Club. Drake is one of the first people in her department to be awarded an ACS Chemistry Certification and she has won many awards during her time at WIU, including winning an honorable mention for the national Goldwater Award.

WIU has only had two previous Goldwater award or honorable mention winners and only 300 students nationally receive this award each year. Drake is the first female and first chemistry major from Western to ever win one.

Olson, selected as the fall 2015 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a B.M. in music education. He is also an Honors Scholar and will graduate with the highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. While at Western, Olson was selected as one of two undergraduate music education students in Illinois to attend the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Emerging Leaders Conference. He was also selected, through an audition, as a student conductor for the WIU Concert Band and was a three-time tenor saxophone finalist in the WIU Orchestra's concerto competition. Olson also served as the president for the National Association for Music for the WIU chapter and was a section leader for the Marching Leathernecks. Olson currently serves as a Band Director at Princeton High School in Princeton, IL.

Ashby, selected as the spring 2015 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders. She is also the WIU-Macomb Convocation speaker, an Honors Scholar and will graduate with high academic distinction, Magna Cum Laude. For her undergraduate honors thesis, Ashby researched the effects researcher/examiner/clinician comments and questions have on the outcome of a client's/child's speech during sample collection. She was a WIU team member in the Student College Trivia Bowl at the Illinois Speech-Language Hearing Association annual conference (the team placed third overall).

Ashby served as the WIU Swing Dance Club president and vice president, and as a Swing Dance Club member, she volunteered and performed for senior citizens in Macomb. Through her Phi Eta Sigma service, she organized and participated in the Adopt-a-Street program. Ashby plans to attend graduate school to study in the area of speech, language and hearings sciences.

Jasper, selected as the fall 2014 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a B.S. in Psychology with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. She is also the Psychology Departmental Scholar and an Honors Scholar. While at Western, Jasper participated in a highly competitive undergraduate research program in behavioral and cognitive sciences through the University of Minnesota. As a result of participating in that program, she received a grant from the National Science Foundation, which funded her summer research on old adults with dementia.

She has also served as the WIU Gerontology Club president, worked as a resident assistant for University Housing and as an executive board member for the National Residence Hall Honorary. She is a recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi Roland Grass Memorial Scholarship and the Mila R. Allen Showers Scholarship and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Psi Chi.

Lueschow, selected as the spring 2014 Centennial Honors College Scholar, graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology (double major) with high academic distinction, Magna Cum Laude. She was also an Honors Scholar. During her time at Western, she co-authored an article that appeared in the journal Applied and Environmental Microbiology, and she has presented her research twice at the national Mycological Society of America. She also presented at Western's biology and undergraduate research symposia and won second place for her undergraduate poster presentations (two years) at the Biology Research Symposium.

She served as a Centennial Honors College peer mentor, volunteered for various service projects through Phi Eta Sigma and volunteered at a local retirement facility. Lueschow is also the assistant leader for the Elmwood All-Stars 4-H group, worked as the assistant sheep superintendent for the Heart of Illinois Fair and served as a teacher's assistant for the virology class in WIU's biological sciences department.

Mojica, selected as both the fall 2013 Centennial Honors College Scholar and Honors Convocation Student Speaker, graduated with a B.S. in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. At Western, Mojica served in an internship with the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department and as the attorney general for the WIU-QC Student Government Association. In his community, he received the Student of the Year Award by the Greater Quad-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at its 2013 Community Awards ceremony in February. Mojica is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society; Alpha Phi Sigma - The National Criminal Justice Honor Society; Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Society; Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society; Blue Key Honor Society; and Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society.

Davis, selected as the spring 2013 Centennial Honors College Scholar, the Mathematics Departmental Scholar, graduated with highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude, with a bacherlo's in mathematics. He was also an Honors Scholar. As a junior, Davis completed an undergraduate research project on the topic of Fourier Series, which earned the top honor for mathematics projects at the WIU Thomas E. Helm Undergraduate Research Day. He was a member of the WIU Swimming/Diving Team and in 2012 was named the Winter/Spring Academic All-Summit League Distinguished Scholar; in 2011, he was named the Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Selection Distinguished Scholar; and in 2010-11 was named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence. He also had two top 10 performances in WIU's history (for the WIU Men's Swimming/Diving Team) and was twice voted as the "most dedicated swimmer" by his swim-team members. After graduation, he will serve in an internship in State Farm's IT/systems department. He hopes to attend graduate school and eventually would like to teach mathematics at the high school or college level.
