Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
- extrapolate the firm’s current situation into the future based on his/her assessment of competitive threats and new opportunities (reflective thinking)
- use tools of marketing to understand the firm’s current situation and its position relative to its competitors (analytical skills)
- analyze historical and pro forma financial statements and profit analysis reports in a marketing context (financial analysis and reporting)
- understand each independent functional area within the marketing complex, as well as the interrelated nature of the field (integration)
- contextually apply marketing terms, principles, and thinking to a real world situation (knowledge application)
