Public Relations (B.A.)
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
- demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental theories, principles, and practices of public relations, including its historical development, ethical considerations, and its role in society;
- acquire knowledge of the specific processes involved in public relations campaigns across various contexts and for diverse publics, including problem definition, strategy and tactic development, and evaluation;
- develop effective writing skills essential for successful public relations practices across diverse media platforms;
- develop skills in conducing both quantitative and qualitative research, along with data analysis; and
- demonstrate an understanding of the ethical principles and legal regulations governing public relations practices.
