Public Relations  (B.A.)

 

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to: 

  1. demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental theories, principles, and practices of public relations, including its historical development, ethical considerations, and its role in society;
  2. acquire knowledge of the specific processes involved in public relations campaigns across various contexts and for diverse publics, including problem definition, strategy and tactic development, and evaluation;
  3. develop effective writing skills essential for successful public relations practices across diverse media platforms;
  4. develop skills in conducing both quantitative and qualitative research, along with data analysis; and
  5. demonstrate an understanding of the ethical principles and legal regulations governing public relations practices.
