2023 University Assembly

The new academic year at Western Illinois University kicked off with the annual University Assembly at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall on the WIU-Macomb campus.  The event was also live-streamed on the University's YouTube channel.

Faculty, staff, students, and community members were invited to attend the event.  During the event, WIU President Guiyou Huang discussed plans and  priorities for the 2023-24 academic year and beyond, and Provost Manoochehr Zoghi also provided remarks.
