Dog Walk Information

Running Dogs

For those interested in participating in the Dog Walk, two routes are available: a 1.33 mile loop and a 2.19 mile loop. Since this is a non-competitive walk, you can decide while you are walking which route you want to complete. As a matter of fact, you are welcome to complete the walk even if you do not have a dog!

Dogs must be kept on leash and walkers are required to clean up after their dog (bags will be available during check-in). Below are the routes for the Dog Walk. The Dog Walk will begin and end at Brophy Hall Gymnasium.

5K Fun Run & 5K Dog Run Route

The 5K Fun Run and the 5K Dog Run begins and ends at Brophy Hall and will follow the same route (see below). Dogs must be kept on leash while running and owners are required to clean up after their dog (bags will be available during check-in).

Route Directions:

  • Starting from Brophy Hall Gymnasium, proceed South to University Drive
  • West (right) on University Drive to Western Avenue
  • South (left) on Western Avenue to University Drive
  • West (right) on University Drive to Linden Lane
  • South (left) on Linden Lane to Riverview Drive
  • East (left) on Riverview Drive to Western Avenue
  • South (right) on Western Avenue to Adams Street
  • East (left) on Adams Street to Charles Street
  • North (left) on Charles Street
  • Proceed up the hill on Charles Street to the Bus Gate
  • Go though the bus gate and follow the road by Bayliss Hall
  • Proceed north to the sidewalk ton University Avenue
  • Turn left and proceed to the finish line in Brophy Hall Gymnasium
