Another University Libraries Game Nite

The Western Illinois University Libraries are hosting another fun-filled Game Nite on October 2, 2008 in the Malpass Library (3rd level) from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Game Nite will feature Wii, Xbox, LAN, and other electronic games as well as traditional board and card games such as chess, cribbage, Uno, and mancala. Game Niters are invited to bring their own games or use library equipment and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of friendly competition. Game Nite organizers extend a special invitation to players of Magic: The Gathering, go (a popular Japanese game), Mille Bornes, Fluxx, and chess, especially if these players would be willing to bring their equipment and teach others how to play. The Game Nite series has garnered a good bit of media attention recently and that is no surprise; it is a great event of brainy fun! The event is free and open to the public.
