Mailing Lists (Google Groups)

Google Groups is a supported distribution list management system. Western Illinois University (WIU) email users can create and manage their own Google Groups. Memberships are manually managed by the Google Group owners. In some cases, Google Group membership can be automatically populated based on criteria stored in WIU's directory. Contact University Technology (uTech) Support Center if you would like information about setting up automated memberships from the WIU directory. Google Group subscribers can be on-campus or off-campus email recipients. Google Group owners have many choices for configuring Group management and options. The uTech Support Center will assist users with configuration settings, basic and advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
