Our Mission

The mission of the Student Service Unit that has a direct reporting line to the Associate Vice-President of Student Services is to provide all students and alumni of WIU with equal access, equity, and inclusion to their specialized services through multifaceted and innovative programming.


This Unit as part of the vast Student Services Division supports the University mission of engaging students in educational opportunities guided by professional faculty and staff and in collaboration with alumni and community partners. The Unit supports the core values of the university; Academic Excellence, Educational Opportunity, Personal Growth, and Social Responsibility.
