Biswell: November EOM

MACOMB, IL – Candice Biswell, an office support specialist for the instructional design and technology department at Western Illinois University, has been named the WIU November Civil Service Employee of the Month.

According to her nominators, "Candice is a central figure in the instructional design and technology department. As a single person manager of the office, she makes all things work effectively and efficiently."

"Her work knowledge, skills and helpfulness are truly appreciated by faculty members and students. Candice is hard working, even-tempered and is always friendly," her nominators added. "She has a great attitude and is fair and consistent as she juggles working with faculty, student workers, and students. Candice is always helpful on the phone and is quick to take care of student's issues."

Biswell was hired as a secretary III for the law enforcement and justice administration department in January 1995. She was promoted to her current position in July 1997.

"We would like to thank Candice for her loyalty and dedication to Western Illinois University. She is yet another example of the quality employees we have at WIU," said Carla Farniok, Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) public relations representative.
