Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL – The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce that Deanna Stambaugh, an image processing tech II in University Computer Support Services (UCSS), has been selected as the March Civil Service Employee of the Month.
According to her nominators, “Deanna consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and outstanding performace in carrying out job duties, specifically in her responsiveness to faculty needs in regard to test scoring and faculty evaluations. In addition, Stambaugh was recognized for going above and beyond her daily job requirements.
Stambaugh’s nominators also cited her composure and finesse. “She is unfazed by extremely heavy workloads, particuluarly during midterms and finals when stress levels are high. She contributes to the postive effort and image of our unit by displaying professionalism at all times.”
Stambaugh began working at Western in 2003 as a secretary III in University Computer Support Services. She was promoted to an image processing tech II in October 2004.
“We applaud Deanna for her grace under fire and for providing outstanding customer service to students and faculty,” Janet Koll, CSEC public relations officer, said.
