CommUnity Health Month Concludes with Keynote Speaker Michael Gaines

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University welcomes Illinois Department of Public Health Correction Coordinator Michael Gaines for a presentation at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23 in the University Union Lamoine Room.

Gaines, a public health leader and criminal justice reform advocate, serves as the keynote speaker for this year's Uplifting CommUnity Health Month, which has highlighted rural healthcare and food insecurity issues. He will discuss how reentry programs support justice-involved individuals and how to drive change to serve your community.

This event is free and open to the public.
