MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Music presents a series of performances from Monday, April 21, through Sunday, April 27 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The schedule of events includes:

Monday, April 21, 7:30 p.m. - Senior Recital
The recital will feature senior Music Composition student Libbey Lazowski, horn and Paul Casiano, piano.

*Tuesday, April 22, 8 p.m. - University Band/Student Conductors Concert
The concert features the WIU Bands.

*Wednesday, April 23, 7:30 p.m. - The President's International String Quartet Recital
The recital features Professor Julieta Mihai, coach.

Thursday, April 24, 7:30 p.m. - WIU Jazz Band Concert
The concert is directed by Professor Matt Hughes.

Friday, April 25, 7:30 p.m. Graduate Recital
The recital features graduate student Nicolo Echague, piano.

Saturday, April 26, 11 a.m. - Junior Recital
The recital features senior Emilia Kramarov, cello.

Saturday, April 26, 3 p.m. - 59th Annual Wind Ensemble President's Concert
The concert features Professor of Music and Director of Bands Mike Fansler, conductor and Associate Director of Bands Matt Thomas, guest conductor.

Saturday, April 26, 5:30 p.m. - Junior Recital
The recital features senior students Christina Wier, violin and Keira Botica, viola with Leah Smith and Instructor of Musical Theatre and Head Accompanist Aaron Ames, piano.

Saturday, April 26, 7:30 p.m. - Graduate Lecture-Recital
The recital features graduate student Heidi Brooks, piano and Professor Brian Locke, bass.

Sunday, April 27, 11:30 a.m. - Junior Recital
The recital features junior Brady Wade, trombone and sophomore Logan Mitchell, tuba.

*Sunday, April 27, 3 p.m. - WIU Choirs Concert: Graduate Choral Conducting Recital and Student Conducting Internship Concert.

Sunday, April 27, 5:30 a.m. - WIU Viola Studio Recital
The recital features students of Professor Istvan Szabo.

All performances are free and open for general seating.

*Indicates a performance that will be live-streamed on the School of Music's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
