WIU Foundation Holiday Hours and Year-End Gifts

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University campuses, including the WIU Foundation, will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, and reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Alumni and friends wishing to make year-end gifts to the WIU Foundation are invited to review the information at wiu.edu/foundation/eoy. Donors who would like to make a gift over the phone or in person may call (309) 298-1861 or visit Sherman Hall 303 before 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.

To qualify as a 2024 donation for tax purposes, all online gifts must be received before midnight on Dec. 31. To make an online donation, please visit our online giving platform here. Mailed in gifts must be postmarked by Dec. 31.

All 2024 contributions totaling $1,000 or more will qualify donors for recognition in the inaugural class of the newly-launched Sherman Circle.

"2024 has been an incredible year for the WIU Foundation and For the W: The Campaign for Western Illinois University," WIU Foundation Executive Officer Clare Thompson said. "As our team prepares to close this year's books, we are excited to assist donors looking to make their end-of-year gifts. These gifts make an incredible impact on our students and our university."
