WIU-QC Manage Your Stress Week Starts Today!

MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University-Quad Cities is set to host a series of events and activities for "Manage Your Stress Week" from Monday to Wednesday, Dec. 2-4. This long-standing WIU-QC tradition occurs the week before final exams. It is a collaborative effort by WIU-QC Student Services, the Student Government Association (SGA) and various student organizations. The aim is to provide a range of relaxing and enjoyable activities to support students, faculty and staff in managing stress.

The lineup of events includes:

Monday, Dec. 2
4-6 p.m.: Enjoy coffee with grab-and-go snacks with the Counseling Association and Sunny's in Riverfront Hall.
5-7 p.m.: Participate in a holiday potluck with IDEAS in Riverfront Hall, room 212.

Tuesday, Dec. 3
4-6 p.m.: Plant workshop, rock painting and sensory grab bags with the Counseling Association and Chi Sigma lota in Riverfront Hall, room 212
11-2 p.m.: Cookies, croissants and coloring with Women in Engineering in Riverfront Hall Atrium.

Wednesday, Dec. 4
3-5 p.m.: Rock painting with the Society of Educators in Riverfront Hall, room 212.
11-1 p.m.: Tamales with ACE in Riverfront Hall Atrium.
4-6 p.m.Therapy dogs and hot chocolate bar with the Counseling Association in Riverfront Hall Atrium.
