Skien Named October AOM

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Awards & Recognition Committee proudly names Krista Skien, academic advisor for Centennial Honors College, as WIU's Advisor of the Month for October.
Skien has been honored with this recognition following a nomination highlighting her enthusiasm, dedication to students and commitment to the University's core values.
"Krista takes the time to truly get to know each student she works with, offering them encouragement and personalized support," the nomination stated. "Her passion for her job and this institution shines through in every interaction and even her physical presence at events. She attended an event outside normal work hours and offered valuable insight and encouragement to those present."
This recognition showcases Skien's exceptional commitment to supporting and enriching the lives of her students and exemplifying WIU's values.
