WIU to Host Webinar to Discuss Recruitment and Retainment for Hispanic Serving Institutions

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Anti-Racism Task Force (ARTF) is hosting a webinar at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18 focused on how institutions can better serve their students.

The webinar will feature Magdaleno Manzanarez, Vice President of External Affairs at Western New Mexico University, presenting "Recruitment and Retention in a Hispanic-Serving Institution."

The webinar is open free to the public and can be attended in person in the Multicultural Center Board Room or virtually at this link.

The WIU ARTF launched in March 2022 and is composed of members of the faculty, staff and students from WIU, as well as community members. The ARTF aims to take meaningful actions to dismantle racism and further the University's justice, inclusion, diversity, and equity (JIDE) efforts.
