MACOMB, IL - - The Alpha Tau Chapter of Western Illinois University's Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Fraternity will host the 32nd annual Smokin' Hog philanthropy event Saturday, Oct. 19 at the fraternity house, located at 1010 N. Lafayette St. in Macomb.

The annual, family-friendly fundraising event raises money to distribute back to community organizations. Last year, AGR was able to donate around $30,000 to multiple organizations.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner will be from 4-6:30 p.m. The organization will offer a drive-thru-style meal and a traditional, sit-down dining option inside the fraternity house. They will also host a concert at the Icehouse that evening with music by Mac Hankins and The Moonlighters and Lacy's Ditch starting at 9 p.m.

Tickets for the meals, $8 each prior to the event, or $10 the day of the event, are available from any AGR committee member or by visiting agr.crowdchange.co/42511. Items, such as t-shirts, koozies and tickets to the evening concert will also be sold during the event.

Event organizers continue looking for sponsors; additional information is available at agr.crowdchange.co/42511.
