BOT Approves Committee to Assess Presidential Appointment

MACOMB, IL - - In a special meeting held today (Oct. 11), the Western Illinois University Board of Trustees voted to establish a committee to assess the presidential appointment of Interim President Kristi Mindrup, amended to include a representative from the Deans Council, the University Professionals of Illinois (UPI) and the Vice Presidents. Representatives from the Faculty Senate, the University Chairs Council, Civil Service Employees Council, Macomb campus Student Government Association, Quad Cities campus Student Government Association, Alumni Association, and the executive director of human resources, city of Macomb mayor and city of Moline mayor.
The Board also elected Trustee Derek Wise to serve as chair of the Presidential Appointment Committee.
