MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University Master of Public Health graduate student Oladimeji Taiwo has been accepted into the highly competitive 2025-2026 cohort of the Kaiser Permanente Administrative Fellowship Program (KPAFP), a national initiative designed to develop the next generation of healthcare leaders.

The KPAFP is renowned for providing its fellows with comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations and strategic planning. It offers formal mentorship from senior executives and hands-on experience through project-based work. This year, the Northern California region of Kaiser Permanente received 266 applications for only four available fellowship positions, resulting in a rigorous 1.5% acceptance rate.

Following a competitive selection process, which included three stages of virtual interviews and an on-site interview in the San Francisco Bay Area, Taiwo was one of the few selected for this coveted opportunity.

"We are so proud of Oladimeji's accomplishments and he has a great future ahead of him. He is another example of our Public Health students that go on to outstanding careers," Renee Polubinsky, the Graduate Coordinator for the MPH Program, said.

The fellowship is an exceptional opportunity for Taiwo to further develop his management and leadership skills while gaining valuable experience at one of the nation's leading healthcare organizations.
